SmartGov assists government organisations with implementing the Australian Business Excellence Framework.  This provides organisations with a systematic and structured approach to assess and improve the performance of its leadership and management systems.  The framework comprises seven categories:

SmartGov can also facilitate a benchmarking assessment of the organisation against the internationally recognised Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. The results provide a baseline understanding of the organisation's performance capability. We recommend an assessment to determine where the over-arching systems are underperforming and the highest priorities for improvement.
