Overview
Local government has progressively taken on greater responsibilities for delivering services as community expectations have grown and other levels of government have devolved various functions. These challenges have become increasingly more difficult due to the financial pressures placed on councils. Many councils are now looking for internal efficiency gains and opportunities to generate additional income as a means to address these pressures.
SmartGov has responded to this need and developed a comprehensive Service Review System. A primary objective is to help councils achieve long-term financial sustainability.
The system provides a consistent framework for reviewing services and is fully configurable to meet councils’ needs. We provide on-site and remote support with implementing the system, and lifelong access to tools via our online Resource Centre.
